2003 – 2018 Dr Logic turns 15!
Back in 2003, Roman Marszalek started a little Mac Support company from his flat in Finsbury Park. We've come a long way in the past 15 years, here are just a few highlights from our history.
29 Oct 2018 / Dr Logic
2003 – 29th October: Roman starts a small Apple-centric consultancy called ApplePro from his flat in Finsbury Park.
2005 – Roman hires our first subcontractor. On 15th March, we change our name to Dr Logic – this was a nickname given to Roman by one of his clients at the time.
2007 – Dr Logic moves into our first office in Clerkenwell Workshops.
2008 – We start working with British Fashion Designer Ally Capellino.
2009 – Dr Logic joins the Apple Consultants Network and we Trademark Dr Logic in the UK.
2010 – We merge with another Mac support company in London. This merger wasn’t successful and so…..
2011 – Demerge and relaunch ourselves again as Dr Logic. We start working with International Architects Denton Corker Marshall.
2012 – We move our accounting system to Cloud-based Xero. And, our longest serving engineer, Aaron Smith joins the team.
2013 – We start working with Camden Town Brewery, who at the time, are a small craft microbrewery in a pub in Camden.
2014 – Dr Logic joins an early preview launch of Slack; it’s still one of the fundamental tools that we use in our company today.
2015 – Jennie Elliott joins Dr Logic as Marketing Manager and we move to Zendesk for our ticket system.
2016 – A new office in Exmouth House. We launch a brand-new website. And last but not least, Ollie Rooke joins the team as our first Office Manager and we start working with Candy Kittens.
2017 – Our two Directors, Jennie & Roman get married! And we move back to Clerkenwell Workshops as we need a bigger office.
2018 – Our technical team doubles in size in order to look after new clients. We take on our first client where we’re providing onsite support outside of the UK.
2019 – We’re moving again! We’ll be staying in Clerkenwell Workshops, but we need a bigger office as the technical team continues to grow.
