Bisset Adams was an award-winning architectural practice founded in Clerkenwell in 1994. The company had a 42-strong team of architects, interior designers, project managers and brand specialists.

They had a reputation as outstanding specialists in key sectors namely; public libraries and archives design, automotive retailing, workplace and higher education.

Bisset Adams approached us after moving offices in 2015. The first key task was to carry out a full review of the server and backup solutions in place, and suggest upgrades to keep the infrastructure in-line with the rapidly evolving industry standards.

With any server solution, our priority and theirs was to ensure a highly robust and efficient solution with bulletproof backup and a clear process for disaster recovery. In order to achieve this, we installed a Synology server onsite, with an offsite replica in a data centre. We also provided crashplan backup for remote workers and the management team computers.

Being a large practice, we provided deskside support onsite twice a week to ensure we were maintaining the systems and network. This also meant we got to know everyone really well and understand what was going on in the business.

We remotely monitored all their Macs, so were alerted to any issues which could then be managed through our helpdesk.

Earlier in 2016, we assisted in a major office relocation, which included supporting users across temporary locations, whilst the new office was completed. We also implemented a new wireless network for the office and provided a leased line, giving a super-fast 100mbs download and upload. New Meraki access points also provided their secure firewall and guest wifi.
