Established in 2004, they are one of the leading garden and landscape design practices in the UK.
Since then, Marcus’ studio and his team have grown in size and stature.
Not only have they won three Gold Medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show but they grew to the extent that they relocated their offices twice – moves which we supported to ensure they were up and running quickly with minimum disruption to their tech.
As a company, they were looking for an IT partner that knew them well and could keep pace with them as their business grew and their needs evolved. As an example, their studio runs a number of resource-heavy design software applications, so we worked with them to ensure their computers could handle the demands of large design and artwork files.
In the 10+ years we worked with them, we upgraded their servers twice, helped them move to Google Workspace for email hosting and improved their network performance and security. We also improved their comms capability by supplying a VoIP phone system.
The work that Marcus’ team generates is their most valuable asset, so we put in place a highly robust backup solution that encompassed onsite, offsite and cloud-based destinations.
We then worked with their Office Manager on their business continuity and disaster recovery plans, to ensure that if there was a major event, the studio could be up and running again within minutes.
